The agriculture producer price index for the first quarter this year increased by 16.8 per cent, while a drop of 2.6 per cent was registered in the input price index over the comparative period last year.

Ukraine eyes Malta as grain distribution hub

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko announced that Malta could become the site of a Ukrainian grain distribution facility for the North African market during a joint press conference with Prime Minister Joseph Muscat. Poroshenko also highlighted that the Ukrainian Antonov aircraft company is willing to open an office in Malta.
